INTERNATIONAL RUGBY: Munster Wins Again

16.11.2010
Munster 15, Australia 6 in Limerick

Briefly
It is all going pear-shaped for Australia on this Northern tour. After defeating the All Blacks in Hong Kong and then 22-16 over Wales a week later, Australia looked to heading for a brighter future. Look what two results can do. Beaten 18-35 by England last weekend, the second string side fell to a lively Munster in a mid week fixture. It's the fourth time the Irish province has defeated Australia. Back in the days of long tours and mid week matches, the Aussies lost to Munster in 1967, 1981 and 1992. Robbie Deans he has the job now of mustering his side to take on Italy this weekend. Just how these two losses has affected the confidence of this young side remains to be seen.
